Asitha Samaraweera

Managing Director

Asitha counts decades of experience at renowned corporates both in Sri Lanka and overseas. Having begun his career as a Brand Manager at Nestlé Sri Lanka, he served 10 years before assuming his position as CEO of Keells Food Products during which time he also served as a Vice President of John Keells Holdings, thus bringing in a wealth of business acumen and expertise to the table. In addition, Asitha spent a number of years in the UAE, in the capacity of General Manager at Global Food Industries as well as the CEO of Iffco Frozen Foods. Most recently, he served as the CEO of CBL Cocos (Pvt) Ltd and CBL Global Foods Limited.

He currently holds an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, UK, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University, USA. He is extremely knowledgeable in Strategic Business Leadership, having participated in programs organized by the European School of Management and McKinsey & Company.

Indrajith Binduhewa

Indrajith started his career with Atlas in the year 2000 as a Management Trainee and counts 22+ years of experience in his corporate career. He has gained strong experience in both Human Resources and Commercial & Logistics functions within the Company. Indrajith was instrumental in establishing the Supply Chain Department of Atlas Axillia by integrating different functions such as Planning, Procurement, Warehousing and Distribution under one unit which brought speedy responses to Market Changes, Cost Reduction, Improved Efficiency in Distribution and Production.

Indrajith started his sales career in the year 2017 after a very successful stint with Atlas Supply Chain. Under his leadership, sales embarked on a remarkable restructuring process to bring out efficiency in terms of People and Operational cost in 2020. He maneuvered the sales function uniquely during the COVID period to get a higher market share to the company and subsequently registered the highest ever market share recorded in Atlas history. Indrajith has been a key stakeholder in taking Atlas global and capitalizing on International Business and Markets whereby the Company now maintains a significant market presence in 4 to 5 overseas markets at present.

Indrajith holds a BSc. Special Degree in Management from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and successfully completed an MBA in Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM).

Priyanka Kumarage

Director – Human Resources

Priyanka is an accomplished HR professional with senior managerial experience in navigating HR strategies of organisations including a highly diversified conglomerate, FMCG, MNC Telco, Insurance and Hospitality. He counts over 20 years of HR and Training background and is passionate about driving innovative, strategic, and practical HR initiatives to accomplish business goals.

He started his career in HR in the hospitality industry and moved up to work for several leading organizations from Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa in Seychelles, JKH-Union Assurance, Bharti Airtel, and Alcatel Lucent/Nokia. Priyanka was the Group GM-HR for Laugfs Holdings Limited prior to joining Atlas Axillia and holds a unique qualification combination in HR and Hospitality Management and a Masters from University of Angers – France.

Jude Paththamperume

Jude Paththamperume

Director – Finance

Jude is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with a proven track record in financial leadership across diverse industries and global markets. He began his career at Ernst & Young, quickly progressing to managerial level, before moving into the commercial sector as Accountant – Treasury at Loadstar (now Michelin Lanka), Sri Lanka’s largest manufacturer at the time.

He has since held senior roles including Finance Manager at Brandix Hangers, CFO and Board Member at Packages Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, and Chantler Packages Inc., Canada. Jude also co-founded a BPO venture, establishing an operations back office in Sri Lanka serving clients across the UK, GCC, and Southeast Asia.

His expertise spans financial strategy, operational excellence, and corporate governance. With a strong focus on sustainable growth, Jude brings strategic insight and global experience to lead finance in dynamic, results-driven environments.

Kasuni Bandara

General Manager – Marketing

Kasuni brings with her over two decades of proven leadership in marketing and brand building, with strong roots in the FMCG industry, having successfully led both multinational power brands and homegrown Sri Lankan icons.

She began her career in 2004 and, by 2008, had stepped into FMCG as Brand Manager at Serendib Flour Mills, laying the foundation for her consumer marketing journey. In 2011, she joined Procter & Gamble (P&G), where she played a pivotal role in shaping strategies for some of the world’s most loved brands. Her expertise then extended to Godrej Sri Lanka, where, as Head of Marketing, she drove local market relevance while strengthening global brand footprints.

Kasuni also enriched her portfolio with a senior leadership role at Hemas Hospitals Group, where she spearheaded transformative brand initiatives, strengthening market positioning and customer engagement. With her blend of multinational discipline and local market agility, Kasuni is uniquely positioned to elevate Atlas’s brand and innovation agenda in its next phase of growth.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colombo (2010) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK).
