Honouring the Heart of Education
Teachers are at the heart of every meaningful learning experience. They nurture curiosity, shape confidence and guide generations of children towards brighter futures. Recognising this invaluable role, Atlas Guru Garu was created to appreciate, support and empower educators across Sri Lanka. Over the past five years, Atlas Guru Garu has touched the lives of more than 25,000 teachers, strengthening the bond between Atlas and the educators who play a powerful role in every child’s learning journey.

Teacher Appreciation
The Guru Garu Teacher Appreciation Programme celebrates educators for their dedication, commitment, and lasting contribution to students and society.
Conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the programme recognises and honours teachers across Sri Lanka while creating meaningful opportunities for appreciation, learning, and inspiration each year.
Teacher Training
By empowering teachers, Atlas helps strengthen the very foundation of education. Guru Garu reflects our belief that when educators are recognised, supported, and equipped to grow, children benefit from more joyful, creative, and meaningful learning experiences.
Each year, Atlas supports 6,000 teachers through structured upskilling programmes. Atlas also provides monthly financial assistance to 15 deserving teachers for three years, helping them continue their own educational journey with confidence.
